Main Responsibilities 

Safety Emergency Procedure Training

  • Conducting SEP and other cabin safety related instruction and examinations in compliance with SEPM and SEPTM
  • Updating of cabin safety related training materials and manuals
  • Renewal of Instructor and/or Examiner annual certification by regulators
  • Ensure training administration and documentation requirements are adhered to
  • Assists in the development of training materials in accordance with legislative changes
  • Assists in preparation for internal and external audits on SEP


Adherence to Regulatory Standards

  • Carry out instruction and examination of flight and cabin crew as required by the local Authority
  • Ensure adherence of safety requirements by monitoring crew compliance with CAAS regulations
  • Assist SVP Flight Operations, VP Cabin Services and/or Head of Training in preparation for internal and external audits (including IOSA, SMS, SSQE, CAAS, ICAO, IOSA)
  • Meet training administration legislation by regulators


Controlled Documents

  • Updated on SEPM, SEPTM and CSIs



  • Carry out inspections and audits onboard, on training, training admin and materials, including outsourced training to 3rd parties such as SEP, First Aid and Security Training.
  • Verification of training invoices and payments
  • Assist in training administration
  • Assist in planning for training logistics and scheduling of classes
  • Planning of safety-related training to meet company’s growth plans



  • At least 1 year as SEP Instructor and/or Examiner certified by CAAS, within the last 5 years.
  • Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills
  • Highly organised, meticulous and with an eye for detail
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Preferably with minimum 2 years’ experience as supervisory crew on wide-body aircraft or CIC on narrow-body aircraft.
  • Advantageous if Dangerous Goods or First Aid Instruction qualified
