Responsible for crew services including crew communications, supplies and welfare -  develops, designs, reviews cabin crew communications and engagement strategies, activities and processes with the aim to provide effective, timely, relevant, up to date and accurate information for cabin crew.

Ensures crew communications and engagement effectiveness through regular and systematic review of communication and engagement methods, channels and mediums and introduce appropriate interventions that better meets the needs of cabin crew. Plays an integral role as change agent through engagement activities which drives, motivates, sustains change and enables others to adapt and improve behaviour and performance.

Oversees cabin crew welfare matters and manages cabin crew supplies including procurement, inventory and disposal management. Also assists with cabin crew training.

Main Responsibilities

Crew Communications & Engagement

  • Design & co-ordinate cabin crew communications and engagements that align with department and organisation directions and goals.
  • Facilitate effective two-way communication between management and cabin crew through appropriate varieties of chat sessions, surveys, feedback channels to address crew concerns and queries.
  • Plan, initiate and organise Crew Engagement Initiatives, activities and events to support goal of increasing crew engagement and loyalty.
  • Writes and edits crew circulars and other written comms.
  • Manage crew communication mediums including crew comms portals ensuring timely, up to date and accurate information are effectively and readily available to crew.
  • Identify engagement preference and needs for Cabin Crew through Comms Needs Analysis and regular consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review, design and develop communications and engagement interventions to address needs of organization and crew.
  • Review communications and engagement effectiveness and introduce methods, channels and mediums to raise effectiveness where possible. 
  • Assist in planning communications calendar.

Crew Supplies

  • Assist in managing cabin crew uniform and supplies procurement.
  • Oversees uniform issue and inventory management.
  • Oversees appropriate disposal of uniform items.

Crew Welfare

  • Assist in managing crew welfare matters.  


  • Support training functions.
  • Assist in crew recruitment functions.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Essential traits

  • University degree holder from recognised university with total of not less than 2 years of work experience.
  • Publishing experience advantageous
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and systems advantageous
