Main Accountabilities

Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivables    

Oversee the end-to-end process of revenue accounting which includes, but not limited to, the following:

  • Sales and collections recognition and reconciliation from various sales channels and payment methods;
  • Revenue recognition in compliance with FRS;
  • Airport taxes and fees filing with relevant authorities;
  • Provide necessary support to ensure statutory compliance in relation to sales and accounts receivables;
  • Implement and ensure proper internal controls are maintained for sales and collections; and
  • Refunds processing.
  • Perform month-end closing activities for revenue accounting and accounts receivables which includes, but not limited to, the following:
  • Reviews sales / collection / revenue related journals vouchers, invoices and credit memos;
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end closing for relevant areas;
  • Prepare audit schedules;
  • Liaise and provide necessary support to internal and external auditors
  • Manage and guide direct reporting staff
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management



  • Participate in system implementation to improve on existing work processes, as well as initiate recommendations to improve internal control
  • Ensure successful implementation of all passenger revenue initiative, including accounting process and procedures, and system testings.
  • Participate and ensure that systems are properly tested and in compliance with accounting and reporting needs when new revenue initiative are implemented.
  • Identifying key processes to improve on to improve efficiency

  • Ability to work independently and meet regular tight deadlines
  • Dynamic and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
  • Team oriented, and capability to work in a collaborative manner with both internal departments as well as external service providers
  • Meticulous
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Over 8 years of working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Application
  • Airline industry experience preferred
  • Navitaire knowledge preferred
