 Main Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Total Rewards Strategies and Programmes

  • Design and develop Total Rewards strategies and programmes to support the attraction, retention and motivation of employees, to meet the regional business objectives and build a high performance organization.
  • Develop proposals/business case and obtain approvals for company C&B policies and programs. Engage key stakeholders, conduct employee/manager focus groups; implementation will involve developing communication toolkits, announcements, training HR colleagues and delivering the communications.
  • Effectively consult with HR business partners and line leaders to research and evaluate organizational needs and develop solutions. Assist in designing a new and next generation Compensation and Benefits (C&B) programs to meet the needs of multi-generation workforce

Compensation & Benefits Planning and Market Surveys

  • Conduct C&B surveys and benchmark with other key companies in similar industry. Analyze total compensation and take proactive actions to ensure our C&B program remain competitive. This might involve changing benefits strategy and programs, changing compensation mix and variable bonus target funding.
  • Develop salary ranges and internal job grading for all employee levels, merit budgets and merit increase guidelines, promotions and market salary adjustments guidelines, and support enhancement of company-wide review tool.
  • Coordinate & execute the Annual Compensation Planning cycle which includes the Annual Merit and Performance Bonus
  • Analyze department submissions with HR Business Partners to ensure fair and equitable compensation recommendations, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness and differentiating rewards based on performance and potential
  • Manage out-of-cycle compensation
  • Work with HR business partners to create career path framework for all Job families for execution. Perform Job evaluation
  • Ensure correct job matching with the external market data
  • Define Standard format Job Description (JD) and act as the custodian

Compensation & Benefits Policies & Support HR Policies

  • Review and ensure policies are up-to-date and documented into communication toolkits / platforms to be communicated to employees
  • Collaborate with Finance-Payroll section to guide respective stake holders to ensure the crew are paid in accordance to guidelines / policies
  • Support HR business partners in new hire offer process, especially in salary and equity recommendations for ground positions. And provide support in proposing employment offer.
  • Design and implement employee benefits schemes to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements
  • Implement programs to increase awareness and health and wellness programs
  • Assist in the review, update and drafting of the Company’s policies, procedures and processes and Employee handbook
  • Prepares and consolidates monthly statistical reports for HR reporting
  • Providing HR information and analysis for management review and analytical purpose such as headcount reports, salary surveys, internal surveys etc

Legal and Corp Governance Compliance

  • Ensure legal compliance and interpret local and country laws regulating C&B
  • Take timely and proactive actions to review current and new(pending) statutory requirements governing C&B policies, programs and administration, and take actions to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Degree in Business with major in HRM
  • With minimum 5 years’ experience in HR field and preferably with at least 3 years in compensation and benefits work
  • Strong in numeric reasoning & ability to use Microsoft Excel at intermediate level

 Desirable Traits

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer-centricity; strong follow-up and multi-tasking skills
  • A high degree of computer literacy is expected with Analytical and methodical in approach
  • Good planning and prioritisation skills
  • Good in spoken and written English
  • Able to handle confidential information appropriately
