Assistant Manager, Corporate Sales & E-Commerce (Beijing)

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall Corporate Sales and E-Commerce Strategy for China
  • Penetrate corporate, agency and MICE accounts by offering either existing programs or customer specific programs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Corporate, Agent and travel industry arena;
  • Service existing pan-china corporate, agency and API accounts, understand their business needs and establish and develop agencies/corporates deal structure and incentives to drive sales;
  • Monitor on agency performance and report on all sales performances by location and distribution channel;
  • Provide market insights, competitors analysis and propose next course of action for sales
  • Liaise with head office on issues pertaining to system performance, booking flow, incentives, payment etc.

  • Any other duties as assigned by General Manager, China.
  • Excellent account planning that balances potential and achievability,
  • Value-based selling skills founded on business acumen and the ability to translate benefits into the customer's business language,
  • Strong negotiation skills that lead to mutually beneficial deals,
  • Ability to accurately diagnose known and unknown account business needs and translate needs into opportunities and appropriate offering
  • Effective leveraging of value delivered to increase mutual value and account penetration
  • Basic understanding of API and GDS workflow and booking process

 

Requirements

  • Degree educated and at least 3 years relevant experience.
